It is a great pleasure to stay, in this light and spacious cottage; so architecturally pleasing and thoughtfully designed.
In this wonderful part of Scotland it is an artists paradise and a perfect place for young and old to unwind.
The early birds might catch breathtaking sunrises!

Dear Gail and Jim
Sorry we forgot to write in the guest book before we left, just to say again what a great time we all had. The cottage is lovely, great facilities, all mod-cons, lots of hot water, comfy beds and lovely linen. Thank goodness for the wooden floors and the ikea (easy to clean) high chair with my messy two. The location is great and we certainley found lots to do, adults and kids, the weather was a bonus. Thanks again.

Well the weather wasn't up to much but thank you for providing a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day and the welcome pack was much appreciated, especially the wine! The woodburner was wonderful on wet nights! We enjoyed exploring Galloway and visited Whithorn, Kirkudbright, the Solway Coast and Caerlaverock. Closer to home the cliff walk around Balcary Point was wonderful for views and wildlife + Kelsie enjoyed the beach at Balcary Bay. We'll definitely recommend the cottage. Thanks again.

We've stayed in lots of self-catering accommodation, but this surpasses them all! fantastic cottage in a most beautiful part of the world. Recommend Red Trail at Mabie Forest for mountain biking , Broughton House at Kirkudbright, Red Haven Beach and Raiders' Road at Clatteringshaw.

We'll definitely be back next year. Many thanks (especially for the eggs which the boys don't normally eat - they were asking for them every day!)

A fab cottage with lots of character and a toastie hot wood burner! Most impressed by the attention to detail, everything has been considered and provided. Lots of plus points for the standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Fantastic country walks by the sea. We loved walking from the cottage to Balcary Bay, Rascarrel, Torr Point and Red Haven. Locals all very chatty and friendly!
