Most holiday cottages are a mish-mash of second-hand furniture + rubbish pictures on the wall! What a treat this place is & we love the eco-chic! We'll be back. Cheers!
P.S. 7 Stanes - best biking for the family in the UK!

Had a really good, relaxing break in a wonderful cottage.

Thank you so much for all the little treats (wine & flowers and eggs) they were lovely. All of the family have loved it here. The cottage is fantastic, we are worn out because we have been there and done that and have lots of t-shirts! Love from us all xxxx

A fantastic week. We have really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was great and very big. Thank you very much for your hospitality, really nice cottage: if it would be nearer by, we would like to come more often. We enjoyed: historic sites, red kite feeding at Lauriston, beach of Red Haven, Kirkcudbright art trail (we bought a quite nice painting) and much more...

A great week in a fab cottage. Mabie Farm is highly recommended and Auchencairn Bay is great for a stroll.

Thanks so much for the brilliant welcome gifts all gratefully consumed! We have all had a terrific week in this beautiful dog friendly home. We all wish we could live in such a lovely minimalist and co-ordinated space. Would recommend Screel walk for free roaming dogs. Threave Castle is a *must* Castle Douglas has fabulous butchers - the pork and apple pinwheels are highly recommended. Try the cheesy potato scones from Corsons - Don't miss the Cream of Galloway ice-cream - we did not spend week eating - honest! Well maybe we did :-)

Fantastic cottage! Everyone had a great time here. Just what we needed. Great place to visit, for everyone. Places to take children, plenty of walks for your dog, and great to come home to such a lovely relaxing and homely cottage. Would recommend to anyone. Hope to return in the future.
