Driving Directions
From the South
Straight up the M6, left at Gretna Green on to A75 to Dumfries/Stranraer. Stay on A75 Dumfries bypass passed Dumfries towards Stranraer until Castle Douglas/Auchencairn signpost off roundabout first exit. Drive through Castle Douglas then follow B736 signpost to Auchencairn. Follow the B736 until it joins the A711. Follow A711 to Auchencairn, then turn left just after the bridge onto Shore Road. Craigshall Cottage is the third house on the laft, past the bowling green.
From the North
Follow M74 South until J15 Moffat/Dumfries. Follow signs for Dumfries. At the junction with the A75, follow signs for Stranraer until Castle Douglas/Auchencairn signpost off roundabout then turn left. Drive through Castle Douglas then follow B736 signpost to Auchencairn. Follow the B736 until it joins the A711. Follow A711 to Auchencairn, then turn left just after the bridge onto Shore Road. Craigshall Cottage is the third house on the laft, past the bowling green.
